Romans: it is a letter from Paul that can easily be underestimated.

This book is filled with deep, theological thought, as well as understandable, day-to-day advice that can make an impact on any level of faith.

The goal of this series is to break down Paul’s rich book into a digestible level, but also highlight some hard questions that scholars still struggle to understand today.

Today we are going to explore the story, context, and meaning of God’s command to Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. I’ll admit, this will be a tricky one.

This holiday has been a source of controversy and confusion for many households. Some people are against the holiday and see it as a devil-worshiping day (which is how I was raised). Others see it as a reason for candy, costumes, and decorations, and others may not know what to do with it.
